Jennifer Erickson PhD, LPC

Dr. Jennifer Erickson | Health Psychologist and Licensed Professional Counselor | Clinical Trainer/Supervisor 
 

Specializing in anxiety, panic disorders, health and wellness coaching, bariatric surgery counseling, and executive function / ADHD Testing.

With over 10 years of experience, Dr. Erickson is dedicated to providing personalized care to help clients achieve mental wellness.

Jennifer is no longer working with patient's directly, rather she is training/supervising Miles and Kené, our social worker supervisees. Consider working with Miles or Kené and you get Jennifer behind the scenes as well.

Denise Tatum | Clinical Director | Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider | Clinical Supervisor

Specializing in working with children and families from diverse backgrounds, focusing on behavior modification, family systems, anxiety, stress management, and trauma; Denise has an extensive background with reunification therapy, co-parenting, and therapy with children with sexualized behaviors. Denise holds a BA in Psychology as well as a BA in Child Development and Family Studies.  She earned her Master's from the University of Southern California in Social Work. Denise has been licensed since 2021 and has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. Denise earned her Play Therapy Certificate in 2023 and is an approved LCSW supervisor from the National Association of Social Work. 

Kene Menakaya, MSW

caring and dedicated individual with extensive knowledge
working with adults and children undergoing crisis, family
violence, abuse assessment, advocacy, and support services
geared towards recovery.
He loves traveling, animals, and spending time with family.

Miles Kenny, MSW | Supervisee in Social Work

A pre-licensed therapist with over four years experience working with individuals with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) alongside mental illness diagnoses.

He loves animals, spending time with friends and family, creating art, and being in nature.

Dr. Carrie Hartwell | Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Clinical Supervisor PhD, MA

A licensed clinician specializing in trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, adjustment to life transitions and stressors, and interpersonal relationships.  As a clinician, Dr. Hartwell's primary interests include working with individuals, couples, and families who have experienced trauma (including veterans, survivors of interpersonal violence, and others) or other challenging life events, with particular emphasis on identifying and strengthening factors which promote positive adaptation and healing. She has over 27 years of experience as a mental health practitioner in the U.S. and abroad, serving in clinical, administrative, and academic roles. For the last 20 years, Dr. Hartwell has been in private practice in Richmond, Virginia, providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy to diverse clientele including adolescents and adults, the LGBTQ+ community, traumatic brain injury survivors, refugees/migrants, and others, while also providing consultations to social service organizations and teaching in both community and academic settings. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches and works collaboratively with clients to create individualized goals and treatment plans. 

 

In her free time, Dr. Hartwell enjoys theater/dance, sailing, reading, and hanging out with her teen and her pug.

When she is not working, she enjoys being outside in nature, traveling, and playing with her dogs.

With over a decade of experience as an Entrepreneur, Jamel excels at bringing people together to meet the needs of the community. 

When he is not working, he loves spending time with his family and to relax, he plays classical piano.

Conner Scallan, PTA

Conner Scallan, PTA, EP | Physical Therapy Assistant; Exercise Physiologist| Health and Wellness Group Facilitator


Specializing in physical health and rehabilitation recovery, Conner enjoys sharing stress reduction techniques to improve wellness.

When not working Conner loves video games, hiking, and traveling.
