Outside of Work
When Miles (he/they) isn't providing lifechanging counseling services to his clients, he spends his time at home parenting his three cats. He also finds great joy in creating art in the form of jewelry, drawings, and paintings. Miles is continuously inspired and energized by nature and the sun.
Education Path
Miles has received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work. He is pre-licensed and receiving supervision to eventually meet requirements to be an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
Experience
Miles has over four years experience working with younger and older adults with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) with many having coexisting mental illness diagnoses.
Clinical Focus
Miles has a passion for helping others who are driven, interested, and/or in need of services to process the human experience. This may include, but is not limited to, experiencing Depression and/or Anxiety, being a part of LGBTQ+ community, and/or being Neurodivergent. He believes in meeting people where they are and applying theories into practice that are helpful and relevant to the individual(s) being supported.
